ACTA is a joint venture between the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and the Faculty of Dentistry of VU Amsterdam. ACTA falls directly under both Executive Boards (CvB).
The members of the board (CvB) of both universities keep supervision on the functioning of ACTA:
The dean of ACTA is charged with the general management of ACTA in accordance to the Higher Education and Research Act (WHW). He is being assisted by the management team.
