Parking and directions

Read all information about parking at ACTA

ACTA does not have its own parking facilities. Employees, patients and visitors can use the parking garages of VU Amsterdam and VUmc. Parking therefore falls under the joint parking policy of VU/VUmc. Please note that parking in the ACTA area takes time due to traffic jams in front of the parking garages and the search for a spot.

Parking and directions

  • Parking patients VUmc/ACTA/SBT

    Parking garage P2

Patients and visitors of VUmc and ACTA can park in the garage under the ACTA building, garage P2. When entering the garage at the rear of the building, users receive a ticket.

    Parking costs

Patients at the Amsterdam UMC location VUmc/ACTA/SBT with a high-frequency and/or long-term visit can park with a 50% reduction. The institution determines whether this regulation applies.

    How it works
You are an ACTA patient and you have ACTA approval for the reduced parking fee. When you register for your treatment, have your parking ticket depreciated at the Appointments and Information employee. On departure you pay the remaining amount at the payment machine of the parking garage.

    More information?

Employees of parking management are located in the box of the parking garage. More information can also be found at: www.parkerenbijvu.nl and/or www.parkerenbijvu.nl/contact

    Parking fees on the street

The parking rates for street parking on the Zuidas will be increased to €3 / hour from Monday 6 March, with the exception of the area along Gustav Mahlerlaan between Parnassusweg and Beethovenstraat (Gershwin and Mahler sub-areas). The current rate of €4 per hour will be maintained here. The new rate of €3 per hour applies on Business days between 9 and 19. Outside these times, street parking is free. The current parking duration restriction in the northern part of Van der Boechorststraat (north of A.J. Ernststraat) will be lifted.

  • Parking for people with a disability VUmc/ACTA/SBT

There are 2 parking options for people with disabilities at ACTA.

Cars and vans with a maximum height of 1.9 meters in the P2 car park

In parking garage P2 under the ACTA building, you can park your car in the reserved parking spaces near the pedestrian exit. Here you will also find an elevator.
The navigation address is Gustav Mahlerlaan 3004, 1081 LA, Amsterdam.
On presentation of your disabled parking card and your entry ticket, you can receive an exit ticket at the ACTA patient desk after your treatment. The status of your disabled parking card is noted in our patient file so that you do not have to show it again on your next visit.
NB! If you park your bus or car in the parking spaces on the street side, you risk a considerable fine.

Buses of at least 2 meters and a maximum of 3 meters high on the street side

Minibuses of this height can park for a limited time in the indicated parking spaces in front of the entrance of the ACTA building on Gustav Mahlerlaan. Make sure you place the disabled parking card visibly behind the windshield. Lawful parking is free of charge in these places.
For people with disabilities who have very limited mobility or who are transported from the building on a stretcher, there is the option of being dropped off on the sidewalk right in front of the entrance to the ACTA building. The driver of the van must follow the indicated route and the directions. Your driver/supervisor cannot park or wait in the car at this location.

Parking with a national disabled parking card (GLO)

Disabled patients who show a valid national disabled parking card (GLO) at the Amsterdam UMC location VUmc/ACTA/SBT can park free of charge in one of the parking garages of Parc Facility BV.

    How it works
You are an ACTA patient with a disability. You will park in one of the parking garages of the Parking Company. When you register for your appointment, you show your GLO to the Appointments and Information employee. The employee will depreciate your parking ticket. After your treatment at ACTA you can drive out of the garage immediately with the stamped ticket.

ACTA employees, in possession of a GLO, park in the parking garage without a personal contribution. ACTA pays the subscription fee for these subscriptions.

    More information?

Employees of parking management are located in the box of the parking garage, to the left of the entrance barrier. Information about the parking garage can be found at www.parkerenbijvu.nl and/or www.parkerenbijvu.nl/contact. Or contact ACTA on 020-598 03 80.
