Personal information

Engelbert Schulten is a maxillofacial surgeon in the department of Maxillofacial Surgery of the Amsterdam UMC and ACTA. He is clinically and fundamentally interested in maxillofacial yaw and dental reconstructions with implants with patients who had been treated with oral cancer. His research is focused on the regeneration of these bone defects with bone grafts and bone substitutes, and the application of stem cells, in other words bone tissue engineering.
