Naichuan Su`s research primarily focuses on the epidemiological association between oral health and general health, early screening of systemic diseases in dental settings, and reporting practices in medical publications, including the assessment of "spin".
His teaching focuses on statistical methods, research methodology, and epidemiology. He coordinates the PhD course Statistical Methods (3 ECTS) and Epidemiology & Statistics in Dental Specialist Programme (OHS) (6 ECTS).
He currently serves as Vice-President of the IADR Evidence-Based Dentistry (EBD) network and as a statistical advisor for the scientific journal Clinical Oral Implants Research.
