Jan de Lange is a maxillofacial surgeon and epidemiologist, and he is the chair of the Maxillofacial Surgery department of the Amsterdam UMC and ACTA. He has broad research interest in maxillofacial research, with topics like obstructive sleep apnea, trauma, and osteotomy. He frequently gives national and international lectures on various topics within the field. He is also vice chair of the Strasbourg Osteosynthesis Research Group (SORG).
