Patients aged from 6 months to 18 years are treated in the Department of Paediatric Dentistry or Child Dentistry. Patients from 15 till 18 years can be treated in the Department of Paediatric Dentistry as well as in the educational arena. The patients at ACTA are treated by specialists and students. For the trainee dentists, this is part of their training as dentists and paediatric dentists. All treatments are carried out under the supervision and responsibility of experienced dentist-lecturers.

Treatment at ACTA is similar to that provided in any other dental practice, with the difference that treatment carried out in the context of training our students is more time-consuming than regular treatment. For younger patients in particular, a visit to the dentist can be an overwhelming experience. In such situations, it is very important for dentists to give their patients all due attention and to create a pleasant atmosphere. Our students will gladly take the time to discuss the treatment at length, and to provide any additional explanation that may be required.
