The main research focus at the Department of Preventive Dentistry is on understanding and maintaining oral health.
The background of our tenured staff is very diverse and ranges from dentistry to microbiology, molecular biology, chemistry, physics, biotechnology and bioinformatics. We perform fundamental and clinical research, provide graduate and postgraduate and professional education courses and supervise research internships of bachelor and master students of various faculties.
